Cork Screw Willow is so easy to grow in just about any soil type. At maturity, this plant gets about 20-30' both tall and wide.
When planting Corkscrew Willows, find a site that offers full to partial sun (4 to 8 hours of sunlight). Plant in a moist location away from underground utilities, sidewalks, driveways and patios since it's roots tend to grow along the top of the soil.
Willow bark contains salicylic acid which is toxic to dogs, and even more so to cats. They would need to be chewing on it for this to happen. The corkscrew willow is deer resistant and not susceptible to disease or pest infestations.
