Monstera Esqueletos Phildendron

$129.99

This hard-to-find climbing vine features big, bold leaves (to nearly 3 feet long at maturity) dramatically fenestrated with small holes near the center of the leaf and large holes closer to the edges. Like Monstera deliciosa, it grows to 6 feet or more, making it one of the most stunning floor plants you can enjoy in your home.

Growth Habits

The Monstera is an easy-going plant and is generally pest-free and should reach from 6-8' at maturity. As epiphytes with aerial roots, they are sensitive to overwatering, so they don't want to sit in soggy soil.

Care

This easy-to-care-for plant prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering, and be sure to provide a trellis or support for the plant as it grows. Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun. As an aroid, it is best to use a houseplant soil developed specifically for plants in the aroid family - use our AMG Chunky Chatt Aroid Soil.

Toxicity

This genus of plants is mildly toxic to humans, and toxic to both dogs and cats.
