We grew this lively mix in the front beds of our old farmhouse porch and discovered it is one impressive zinnia, forming mounds of continuous color that were adored by the butterflies.  The flowers are around 2 “, in the vibrant colors of red, cherry, yellow, orange, and white. Grows 14-18” and are great to use for the edge of pathways, mass plantings, or in containers. Tolerates heat and humidity, and is resistant to powdery mildew. Profusion's performance is truly outstanding!

Care

Plant in full sun, well drained soil and if you can help it, try not to wet the foliage at night. Zinnia's are fairly susceptible to bacterial and fungal spots, powdery mildew and bacterial fungus. That's why we continue to try to sell newer varieties that are more effective at minimizing those types of problems. Minimize wetting of foliage and space plants properly to avoid disease.

Growth Habit

Grows 14-18” and are great to use for the edge of pathways, mass plantings, or in containers. Tolerates heat and humidity, and is resistant to powdery mildew. Profusion's performance is truly outstanding!

Toxicity

Zinnias are a member of the daisy family and are safe for dogs, cats, and horses. Considered to be deer & rabbit resistant.

    For mail orders: Plants may go through shock during shipping. Upon arrival, take the plant out and water it thoroughly. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please notify us via email at sales@amgardens.com and include a photo(s) within 24 hours of plant arrival.

    For in store purchases: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call us at 423-870-5000 or return the plant in its original pot/condition within 3 days. Trees and shrubs have a 6 month warranty (exceptions may apply), but we highly encourage you to give us a call or email if you notice issues with your plant. We'd love to help you figure out what's wrong and save your plant!

    Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
