Description

A long-blooming dwarf variety, perfect for smaller spaces. Orange spikes of tubular flowers with red tips bloom continuously from summer to fall. Outstanding as a color spot, in mass plantings, or as a vertical accent at the front of borders, it grows quickly in the spring before flowering in July. Several inches shorter than Mango Popsicle, a Kniphofia with similar bright orange flower spikes, it grows to less than 2 feet at maximum height.

Care

Zones 6 - 9. Full sun. Can tolerate some shade, but will flower less. Moist but well drained soil - not soggy. Avoid water collecting in the crown, as this can cause crown rot. Blooms in summer. 

Growth Habit

22" tall and 14" wide at maturity.

Non-toxic. Do not ingest.

Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
