The Bing Cherry Tree is one of the most popular varieties for home orchards, offering large, dark cherries with a rich, sweet flavor. Known for its ability to thrive in various climates, this cherry tree is perfect for gardeners looking to enjoy high-quality, homegrown fruit. Bing Cherry trees are not self pollinating so you will need a Black Tartarian, Rainier or Lapin Cherry tree to pollinate it with. Our seven gallon trees cannot be shipped but are 3-5 year old trees.
To care for cherry trees in Zone 7 (Chattanooga), make sure that they receive plenty of sunlight, have well drained/rich soil and are watered well during especially during the first few years of our dry summer seasons. Prune yearly if needed in late winter and fertilize with organic fertilizer with a low nitrogen fertilizer. Best grown in zones 5-8.
At maturity, this tree grows to approximately 12' - 15' tall x the same wide. Ripens in July.

For in store purchases: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call us at 423-870-5000 or return the plant in its original pot/condition within 3 days. Trees and shrubs have a 1 year warranty (exceptions may apply), but we highly encourage you to give us a call or email if you notice issues with your plant. We'd love to help you figure out what's wrong and save your plant!
Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
