The asparagus fern plant is not really a fern at all, but a member of the Liliaceae family. When growing asparagus ferns outside, place them in a part sun to shady location for best foliage growth. While the asparagus fern plant may sometimes flower, the tiny white flowers are small and not necessary for the beauty of growing asparagus fern.

ColorMax is a relatively new series of viola that comes to us from Sakata Seed and has completely shocked me with its flower power. It really is color to the max with these violas. The ColorMax series is a giant-flowered viola that is heat tolerant and produces an abundance of brilliant color, even under heat stress where standard violas suffer. Height: 4-6″
Width: 8-10″.
Penny Viola's are early flowering and uniformity across a wide range of colors make Penny suited for high-density production in packs and small pots for both fall and spring. They have a semi-trailing habit and are very versatile and adaptive, making them a great addition to a hanging basket or patio pot. They will continue to flower through the winter in mild climates and will pick up where they left off once the snow melts off the plants. They flower earlier and longer than other fall plants, even in low light. Grows 4-6" tall.
Deep brick red flowers have dramatic black whiskers radiating from bright yellow centers.
Compact, mound-shaped 6 in. plants produce an abundance of 1 in. flowers. The Sorbet viola series combines the charm of violas with the amazing color range of pansies. Easy to grow, Sorbet Red violas are both heat and cold tolerant, will flower over an extremely long season, and provide welcome color to borders, patios, or decks.
Plant size and shape may differ from what is pictured.
