Shiro plum tree bears  a medium round, yellow fruit with a pink blush. The Shiro plum is juicy, translucent flesh with a mild, sweet flavor. Shiro plums are medium-sized clingstone fruits with bright yellow skin and crisp yellow flesh. They are sweet and firm. The Shiro plum tree is low growing, spreading, very hardy and prolific (may need thinning). Good pollinizer.  The Shiro plum tree limited growth habit make it a good selection for home garden.

Growing well in hardy zones 5-10, it is considered partial or self-pollinating, but adding another pollinator nearby may increase the size of your crop. Pollinate with Methley Plum Trees. Mature height & width is 15-20'. Our plum trees are 3 year trees that our sold in 5 gallon lines and are approximately 5' tall and have a trunk of approximately 1". 

Because fruit trees often require cross pollination, we offer our five gallon size fruit trees at a "buy two trees and get an additional 15% off" for customers enrolled in our rewards program (excluding fruit bearing cherry trees).

For mail orders: Plants may go through shock during shipping. Upon arrival, take the plant out and water it thoroughly. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please notify us via email at sales@amgardens.com and include a photo(s) within 24 hours of plant arrival.

For in store purchases: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call us at 423-870-5000 or return the plant in its original pot/condition within 3 days. Trees and shrubs have a 6 month warranty (exceptions may apply), but we highly encourage you to give us a call or email if you notice issues with your plant. We'd love to help you figure out what's wrong and save your plant!

Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
