Description

Philodendron 'Painted Lady' is a fast growing, easy to grow house plant that has beautiful, climbing hybrid plant known for its bright, variegated yellow-green leaves and contrasting pink petioles. Easy to grow! It's a climber so you will probably want a moss pole or another climbing support. Most people train it to grow upwards to create a vertical accent or horizontally along their shelves.

Care

These plants prefer bright, indirect light in order to maintain their vibrant variegation. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as it may cause the leaves to scorch. The Painted Lady requires regular watering, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between watering.  Over watering should be avoided, as it can lead to root rot.

Growth Habit

The Painted Lady is fast growing and is a variegated aroid that can reach up to 10 feet tall and 2 feet wide. The leaves can actually reach to about 12" in length.

Toxicity

Toxic to pets; The plant causes severe discomfort, burning, and swelling, necessitating immediate veterinary attention if pets consume it.
