Raspberry Frost or Pulmonaria ‘Raspberry Frost’ is enhanced by a cream-silver margin and a heavily veiled leaf surface for added interest. The bright coral-red flowers are showy in early spring and when finished are covered by newly emerging foliage for a very clean look. A fresh look for this popular plant.

Care

This plant will thrive in part shade to full shade as long as you provide moisture. Part sun, average water needs. Best grown in zones 4-9.

Growth Habit

Starting in mid-spring shortly after Hellebores are finished booming, dainty light periwinkle blue flowers cover a low, mounded habit. After the flowers fade, you can enjoy its dark green leaves that are lightly sprinkled with silver. At maturity, this plant has a height of 14-16" and width of 24-28".

Toxicity

Deer and rabbit resistant. Lungwort plants are toxic to dogs of all ages. The entire plant contains poisonous chemicals, including saponins and pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
