Miss Kim Lilac

This deciduous lilac blooms later than others, extending the season with deep purple buds that reveal clusters of highly fragrant, lavender-blue flowers. Foliage is burgundy-tinged in fall. Hardy, yet performs in southern regions, with excellent powdery mildew resistance. Slow growing; reaches 6 to 8 ft. tall and wide, or more with age. Miss Kim is considered a dwarf plant when compared to other lilacs, but compact would be a better description. Miss Kim is a fairly slow-growing, full sun shrub that will take three years or more to achieve a mature heightof 6 - 8' tall and wide.
