Snowball Bush Viburnum or Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' is a popular and easy-to-grow hybrid shrub with a dense, rounded growth habit. It is highly prized for its large, white spring flowers. The flowers begin apple-green in color, morph into white, and eventually fade to rose color, looking much like hydrangea blossoms. 

Care

Select an area with full or partial sun and well-drained soil for your Snowball Bush. This means any area that receives at least five hours of sunlight daily. For watering, check the surrounding soil with your finger, down to about 2 or 3 inches. If the soil is dry here, it's time to water your shrub. Best grown in zones 3-8.

Growing Habit

Traditionally blooming from April - June (zone 7), these deciduous shrubs have hugh 8" blooms. At maturity, the snowball bush reaches 6–12 ft. tall, 6–10 ft. wide.

Toxicity

Not considered toxic to pets and considered deer resistant.
