Agastache are well-adapted to thrive in dry soils and is right at home in rock gardens and xeric container plantings where it will attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and honeybees. This is one of the easiest perennials to grow. A valuable pollinator magnet with three times the flower power of standard Agastache. Enjoy the entourage of hummingbirds, butterflies and bumblebees that stop to savor nectar from the upright smoky lavender-blue spikes of tubular flowers. Licorice-scented foliage with a bonus—it's not favored by deer. Agastache Little Adder is compact and well-branched—a standout for the front of the border. Drought tolerant, Anise Hyssop is an appealing perennial for summer through fall color in a sun-loving garden.
Plant Agastache Little Adder in full sunlight and well-draining soil. Regular watering is essential to maintain moist soil, but avoid waterlogging. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Pruning the plant in late fall helps promote fresh growth in spring. This variety is generally pest and disease resistant, making it easy to care for.
Agastache Little Adder reaches a height and width of 12 to 18 inches and maintains a compact, clumping growth habit. It is suitable for various USDA Hardiness Zones, typically thriving in Zones 5 to 10.
