Just A Few Mother's Day Gift Ideas

The Encore® Autumn Fire® Azalea is a compact, evergreen shrub that delivers vibrant, true red semi-double blooms across three seasons—spring, summer, and fall. Its lush, velvety flowers, approximately 2.5 inches wide, create a striking contrast against glossy dark green foliage, which transforms into a rich purple-bronze hue during winter, ensuring year-round visual appeal.
Reaching a mature size of about 2.5 feet in height and 3 feet in width, Autumn Fire® is ideal for smaller gardens, foundation plantings, borders, and container arrangements. This low-maintenance azalea thrives in USDA Zones 6a through 10b and performs best with 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily but can tolerate quite a bit of shade. It prefers slightly acidic, well-drained soil and benefits from fertilization after the spring bloom or in summer, avoiding feeding after August.
Beyond its stunning aesthetics, Autumn Fire® attracts pollinators such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees, enhancing the ecological value of your garden. Its compact growth habit requires minimal pruning, making it an excellent choice for gardeners seeking enduring color with ease of care.
