If you're in zones 9-11, this is a great outdoor fruiting plant. For us though in Tenneseee, this is an indoor houseplant (zone 7). A Dwarf Cavendish banana is a variety of Musa banana plants with it's short stalk - reaching about 3' tall at maturity. They produce massive and quick-growing paddle-shaped foliage just like any regular Musa banana plant variety. Their leaves also grow in a spiral manner and start with a purple or red color, which turns green as the plant ages. When growing this indoors, basically try to replicate it's outside growing - warm and plenty of sun with moist but not soggy well draining soil.
