As a Phlox paniculata variety, 'Glamour Girl', has been admired for years because of its beautiful floral display as part of the GARDEN GIRLS collection. More importantly, 'Glamour Girl' is known for disease resistance, specifically mildew that often plagues Tall Garden Phlox. 'Cover Girl' has lavender purple flowers with a white halo at centers.

Growth Habit

At maturity, this plant reaches 28 -32 inches tall and wide. 'Cover Girl' has lavender purple flowers with a white halo at centers; blooming in the summer and reblooming. Hardy in zones 3-8.

 Care

Be sure to locate these plants in full sun for the best flowering performance and to help avoid powdery mildew concerns. A favorite of pollinators. Phlox like full sun and soil that is rich but has good drainage. Average water needs.

Phlox is a non-toxic plant and a safe garden plant for people with children and pets. It is not toxic to farm animals or wildlife either. If your child or pet ingests phlox, they are not likely to have any ill effects. Phlox is not a preferred plant for deer to eat. Deer tend not to be attracted to scented plants.

For in store purchases: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call us at 423-870-5000 or return the plant in its original pot/condition within 3 days. Trees and shrubs have a 1 year warranty (exceptions may apply), but we highly encourage you to give us a call or email if you notice issues with your plant. We'd love to help you figure out what's wrong and save your plant! 

Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
