Electric Love Weigela

$39.99

Spark up your outdoor space with Electric Love® Weigela. Shockingly vibrant red bell-flowers cover dark foliage for a unique look and rich contrast. First dark-leaved Weigela with true-red flowers on the market. Electric Love® stays naturally small, only reaching 1-2 feet in height and width at maturity! Ideal container-ready plants, as well as edging and formal landscape barriers.

Growing Habit:

1-2ft tall and 2-3ft wide, low and mounding. Deciduous. Full Sun. Loaded with electric red bell-shaped flowers against dark foliage. It’s the first red-flowered, dark-leaved Weigela on the market

Care:

Pro tip: to encourage rebloom, trim lightly just after the first blooms have finished. Provide at least 6 hours of direct light a day, but allow some afternoon shade in the hottest growing zones. Any well-drained, moderately moist soil in the ground or a pot with ample drainage and enriched soil works great!

Toxicity:

Weigela is not poisonous and is safe around all animals. Attractive to hummingbirds and disliked by deer and rabbits.
