The double-flowered Helleborus WEDDING PARTY® series debuted in 2015. A mixture of color strains custom blended at the plug level for a more evenly distributed mix. Colors in the mix include black, mauve purple, white, yellow, and pink. Hellebores often start blooming for six weeks or more beginning in late winter. They are often flowering during the Christian season of Lent, from which they get their common name, Lenten Rose. Wedding Party reaches 18-24" both tall and wide at maturity.
Zones 4 - 9. Full shade - partial shade. Morning or evening sun preferred. Hot afternoon sun will scorch this plant. Soil should be moist but well drained, never soggy. Blooms early - mid-spring.
1’ - 2’ tall and wide.
Toxic. Sap is a skin irritant. Do not ingest. Keep away from children and pets.
