The Summer Snowdrift Candytuft (Iberis 'Summer Snowdrift') is a carpet-forming perennial that fills gardens in pure white snowdrifts. Summer Snowdrift is a later blooming variety than other candytuft varieties. The deep-green foliage forms low mounds that bloom from spring until frost. These fragrant plants are rarely bothered by deer, but you'll enjoy the pollinators will visit frequently while blooming. A short-lived evergreen perennial in southern climates. Originated in Southern Europe.

Care

Plant Candytufts in the full sun to part shade. Not particular on soil type, these require well-drained soil and consistent moisture and added fertility. Thriving in the heat and frost resistant too, these are adaptable, tolerant and easy-care plants. Best grown in zones 6-9.

Growth Habit

10–12" H x 12–14"W at maturity. Bright white blooms cover the low mounding plants from spring to late summer. 

Toxicity

While evergreen candytuft is generally considered mildly poisonous to dogs and cats. Deer & rabbit resistant.

Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
