Pairs well with

Description

Perhaps the most compact growing Butterfly Bush ever created, growing just 1’ tall by 1.5’ wide. These perfectly mounded mini shrubs will bloom delightfully plump flowers from early summer to fall. And their unique size makes them a great low maintenance, drought tolerant choice for planting along walkways, borders, or even patio containers. Beloved by bees and butterflies, detested by deer and rabbit. Versatile beyond belief, very winter hardy.

Care

Prefers well-drained, fertile soil. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish extensive root system; reduce frequency once established. Clip spent flowers to promote continued bloom. May die to the ground in colder zones, regrowing from the roots in spring. Elsewhere, prune in late fall or early spring. Feed in spring. Best grown in zones 5-9.

Toxicity

Deer resistant. Generally considered non-toxic to both dogs and cats though they might cause mild GI upset if ingested.

Three gallon shrubs are not available for shipment from online orders.
