Golden Oregano

 We love golden oregano as an ornamental perennial as well as an herb. It's a durable, bright full sun ground cover. As the name suggests, it's golden, edible and  aromatic foliage. Golden Oregano is perfect for growing in containers on a deck or indoors on a sunny windowsill. Its low, creeping habit creates a fragrant ground cover. Fresh or dried leaves can be used to add flavor to meat and tomato dishes. At maturity, this plant reaches 4-6 inches high and 12 inches wide.
