Belarina Nectarine Primrose

$8.99

These are really an overlooked gem for gardening. The colors of these blooms early in the spring are truly amazing. Honestly.

BELARINA® primroses are refined beauties that completely embody the joy and hope that spring offers.  Their sizable double blossoms in a rainbow of colors bloom profusely throughout the spring season atop the compact, bright green foliage.  Sterile flowers result in plants that are particularly long blooming.  NECTARINE bears double blossoms which open yellow and then take on an apricot pink blush. It blooms a bit later than some others in the series. At maturity, these plants reach around 5 - 8" tall and 12" wide.

Belarina Nectarine Primrose thrives in well-draining soil with regular moisture. It prefers partial shade to protect its delicate flowers from intense sunlight. Regular watering is necessary to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during hot and dry periods. Deadheading spent blooms encourages prolonged flowering. Applying a layer of mulch around the plant helps maintain soil moisture and regulates temperature, providing a conducive environment for healthy growth.

Belarina Nectarine Primrose typically grows to a height of about 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 cm) with a spread of 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 cm). This perennial is hardy in USDA zones 4 to 8, making it suitable for a wide range of climates. It features semi-evergreen leaves and produces charming, fragrant, and nectarine-colored flowers with a beautiful rosette shape. These lovely blooms emerge in early spring and continue to grace the garden through late spring.

Non-toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
