



This golden-yellow cherry is regarded as the best of its kind. The Rainier cherry tree is known for its fragrant white flowers in the mid-spring, and its large production of exceptionally sweet cherries. Rainier cherries are an excellent choice for canning or preserves. Best if grown in zones 5-10. The Rainier sweet cherry ripens just before Bing. Pollinated by Bing, Black Tartarian, Lapins, Napoleon, Stella and/or Van . Our cherry trees are 3 year trees that our sold in 7 gallon lines and are approximately 4' tall and have a trunk of approximately 1".
To care for cherry trees in Zone 7 (Chattanooga), make sure that they receive plenty of sunlight, have well drained/rich soil and are watered well during especially during the first few years of our dry summer seasons. Prune yearly if needed in late winter and fertilize with organic fertilizer with a low nitrogen fertilizer. Best grown in zones 5-8.
At maturity, this tree grows to approximately 18' - 25' tall x the same wide. Ripens in late June to early July.

Trees and shrubs have a 1 year warranty (exceptions may apply), but we highly encourage you to give us a call or email if you notice issues with your plant. We'd love to help you figure out what's wrong and save your plant!
Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
