Little Lemons Clematis

Little Lemons Clematis

$24.99

This award-winning dwarf variety makes a delightful addition to any garden or patio. Its nodding, bell-shaped, citrus-yellow flowers open throughout the summer and into fall, when the 1–2" blooms transition to whimsical, fluffy seed heads. Great in both in borders and in hanging baskets or containers.

Care

Best grown in full sun to part shade. Water when 25% dry and plant in rich soil with good drainage. Again, the key is well-drained soil, as clematis as a rule do not like waterlogged or wet soils. Prune hard in the March and as often as you like to encourage reblooming. Grows best in zones 4-9.

Growth Habit

Starting in early May and continuing through September, this free-flowering Clematis  is covered with large, 2", yellow blooms...a hummingbird treat. At maturity, Little Lemons reaches 8-20" both tall and wide. Deciduous.

Toxicity

The clematis plant is a member of the Ranunculaceae family and is known to cause toxicity of a moderate nature when ingested by animals. Deer & rabbit resistant.
