Inner Glow Hardy Hibiscus Hibiscus 'moscheutos' brings pure you smiles when you look at your garden with enormous 6 to 8 inch blooms produced in abundance of rich rose pink flowers have a lavender purple halo at the centers that blooms from mid-summer to early autumn.  Enjoy a flurry of hummingbirds and butterflies darting among the blooms. These  native plants bring massive, tropical-looking flowers. Although later to emerge than most perennials in spring, these are fast growing plants capable of adding an inch of new growth a day. Excellent at brightening up end of season gardens.

Hardy in zones 4-9, hardy hibiscus do best in full sun. Best in moist, rich, soil with good drainage. Hardy Hibiscus are best pruned after they've lost their blooms and leaves in the winter. Cut them all the way down since they will not get new growth on the old wood. In our zone, they sometimes appear to be dead the following spring since they don't begin to grow until later in the spring - we tell our customers just to be patient! Once they start growing in the summer heat, they grow fast.

The distinctive trumpet-shaped blooms open to a width of 6" to 8".  Mature height and width are 24-36". Bloom time is mid summer to fall.

If a dog ingests a significant amount of this hibiscus' flower, they can experience nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Deer & rabbit resistant.
