Tricolor Sage

Tricolor Sage is in the Salvia genus, and can be used as a fabulous ornamental along with h culinary uses. These plants are prized in the garden for their aromatic, soft, wooly type leaves and flower spikes which draw in pollinators. Tricolor sage is an ornamental variegated variety, reaching about 12-18" both tall and wide with aromatic white, silvery-green, and pinkish-purple leaves. We consider Tricolor Sage to be a perennial here in Chattanooga. Although not the type to flower often, sometimes you’ll see purple to blue flowers on the ends of spikes. Plants like regular pinching back for best growth.
