block. We think that Georgia Blue is an absolute wonderful Speedwell additions to gardens. The rich blue flowers of Georgia smother the lush backdrop of deep green glossy foliage. Georgia is a ground cover, creeping dainty evergreen (actually, her foliage burns a pretty winter brown and green color in the winter months). The flowers have white eyes and the leaf tips are tinged with burgundy and copper overtones. In early spring, Georgia blues the prettiest blooms so we love to put her cascading over walls or next to natural stone work & fountains. Along with Whitewater Veronica, Georgia is great for a slope, even in the South. At maturity, Whitewater reaches up to 2 ½ feet and remaining only 4 to 6 inches above the ground.
Zones 4 - 7. Full sun. Will tolerate some shade. Moist but well drained soil. Semi-evergreen - foliage turns deep burgundy to bronze in fall and winter. Dense enough to suppress weeds, and tough enough to withstand some foot traffic, it makes an excellent low lying groundcover.
4” - 6” tall, 1’ - 2’ wide.
Non-toxic. Do not ingest.
