Veronica Vernique or Veronica longifolia 'Vernique' has abundant, full spikes of  flowers that bloom continuously throughout summer on a compact variety perfect for a border, cutting garden, or container. Excellent mildew resistance makes this delightful perennial even easier to grow and appreciate. An herbaceous perennial. 

Care

Zones 4 - 8. Full sun. Will tolerate some shade. Moist but well drained soil.  Easy to grow and undemanding, this drought-tolerant, deer-resistant variety is ideal near a border edge, in a rock garden, or in containers. 

Growth Habit

Plant Veronica Vernique in any well-drained spot in your sunny border and watch as it yields countless flower spikes. Flower wands open from the base to the tips for long-blooming flower power. Not a favorite of deer; however, hummingbirds and butterflies can’t seem to stay away. 12 to 18 inches tall and 10 to 12 inches wide at maturity.

Non-toxic. Do not ingest.

Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays; if your order is placed on a Wednesday, it may not ship until the following Wednesday. During peak season there may be delays in shipping. If it is too hot or cold, we suggest ordering during milder months to ensure plants arrive in best condition.
