Notably heat and drought tolerant, this petite sage explodes with orange buds that open to vibrant flowers throughout summer. One of the most humidity tolerant varieties of its type. Add to summer garden borders, wildlife or cutting gardens, or feature in containers. An herbaceous perennial. 

Care

Although heat tolerant and a sun lover, VIBE® Salvia thrives with a bit of partial shade during severe heat. It is also drought-tolerant yet appreciates average watering based on local conditions. Don't forget to give it well-drained soil. Best grown in zones 7-10.

Growth Habit

Grows 1.5 to 2 feet tall and 1.5 to 2 feet wide at maturity.

Toxicity

As a variety of ornamental sage, it is safe to plant in gardens frequented by animals, although ingestion of any plant material might cause mild, temporary stomach upset in rare cases. Deer resistant.
