Just A Few Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Invincibelle Limetta displays spheres of lime green flowers in early-summer that lighten to a soft green-white before turning jade green for the rest of the season. Strong stems hold the blooms upright all season, and a dwarf, rounded habit makes it perfect to plant anywhere, from foundations to flower gardens. These flowers last clear through frost for a persistent show that takes practically no effort on your part - they are great for both fresh and dried cut flowers. Native to North America.
Invincibelle hydrangea can grow in full sun in cooler climates, but afternoon shade is recommended in hot areas. In all areas, a good 2-3" layer of shredded bark mulch is recommended to keep the roots cool and growing vigorously. Prune Invincibelle, and all smooth hydrangeas, in early spring, just as the new growth begins to emerge. Cut the whole plant back by about one-third its total height (it blooms on new wood). If you wish, you may prune in fall, once the plant has gone completely dormant. Deadheading is not necessary for this plant to continue to bloom. However, you may remove old flowers if you wish.
Mounded; deciduous. Height & width at maturity is between 3' - 4' both tall and wide.
Dogs or cats that consume enough hydrangea leaves, flowers and/or buds can suffer from vomiting and diarrhea. In severe cases, hydrangea poisoning can cause lethargy, depression and confusion. Not deer or rabbit resistant.
