The Monstera Deliciosa has been getting more and more popular the last couple years.
Deliciosa is known for its large, glossy leaves that have natural holes.
The Monstera is an easy-going plant and is generally pest-free and should reach from 6-8' at maturity. As epiphytes with aerial roots, they are sensitive to over watering, so they don't want to sit in soggy soil.
This easy-to-care-for plant prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering, and be sure to provide a trellis or support for the plant as it grows. Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun. As an aroid, it is best to use a houseplant soil developed specifically for plants in the aroid family - use our AMG Chunky Chatt Aroid Soil.
This genus of plants is mildly toxic to humans, and toxic to both dogs and cats.
